REU / Research Experience for Undergraduate in genomic plant biology available at Oregon State University in Corvallis.
A position is available for summer 2019 working in an NSF-funded project to identify the genes and mechanisms that control plant regeneration and transformation capacity. See these links for project summary and background. Position duties are described here (biological science position).
Interested students should email: 1) resume/cv, 2) copy of academic transcripts, 3) a 100-200 word summary of experience in molecular and genomic biology/bioinformatics methods, 4) a 100-200 word statement of reasons for interest in the position relative to their professional goals, and 5) proposed start and end dates for 8 weeks of full-time work.
