MSC Afloat Exchange Administrator Apply NEW SEARCH In San Diego, CA Job DescriptionJob Description: Perform systems administration of Windows Exchange servers for the Military Sealift Command Afloat Network Operations Center in San Diego, CA. This position is integrated with a small, dedicated core team of professionals providing support as part of the “day staff” for the 24/7/365 ANOC that is the back-up site for the MSC Fleet telephone and unclassified/classified network connection through satellite and terrestrial communications links. This team coordinates with the primary site for MSC in Pensacola, FL and is instrumental in assisting MSC in its ongoing migration to a “Navy NOC” support model. Responsibilities: - Provide services includingActive Directoryand Exchange support and troubleshooting for thousands of users on more than 100 Navy MSC vessels and for multiple MSC NOCs. - Maintain a virtual2012R2 Hyper-Venvironment. Engineer GAL syncing between forests by means ofMicrosoftMIM/FIM. - Write and submit Change Requests (CRQs) for changes in procedures for approval by Information Assurance (IA). - Create and submit email, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, SQL security policies as prompted bySTIGs for both the classified and unclassified networks. - Develop SOPs regarding security practices and operational procedures. Create guidelines for accreditations and Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI). - Maintain systems with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) support to allow Cryptographic Log On (CLO) via tokens to access workstations, servers, and websites including Outlook Web Access. - Test and assess systems using ACAS scans, SCAP scans, and manual STIG verification. Mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities as necessary. - Manage and report assets in VRAM, continually uploading results from ACAS scans as prompted by remediation of vulnerabilities. - Assist in creation of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures. - Implement redundancy between NOCs for quick, seamless recovery of services in the event of an outage. Education: Required: 7 years’ experience in IT with at least 3 years in the skill area (Exchange Administration) indicated Preferred: BS/BA degree and 3 years as an Exchange Administrator Qualifications: Required Qualifications: - IAT-III level of DoD 8570 certification including relevant Windows Exchange training/certification and up-to-date IA cert that meets the requirement. - DoDSecretclearance (minimum Interim clearance required to start) Preferred Qualifications: - Military NOC experience - Navy/MSC experience </script>
