JOB DUTIES Manage existing commercial accounts, grow the revenue of those existing accounts by strengthening the personal relationships within the accounts and identify new clients that specify, purchase or otherwise use products, processes and/or services provided by the Atlantic Track Crane Runway Division. Seek education from within the Division and our key suppliers/partners to assist you in reading/understanding project plans and specifications for the purpose of developing a cohesive, comprehensive and competitive material, process and/or installation proposal. Seek ongoing education from within the Division and our key suppliers/partners to assist you in improving on your already sound commercial skill set to support you in maximizing your closing percentages and profits related to the opportunities you have identified, pursued and quoted. Eventually, your input into the formation of your annual sales goals will be sought. Develop PowerPoint presentations and conduct technical/engineering seminars for engineering firms, end users and other targeted contractors and facility personnel. Assist with “Field Support” on projects where we have sold materials, services or processes. Assist with ideas for the purpose of developing new products with our key suppliers/partners. Develop your own “Networking Team”. Respond in a timely manner to requests for quote, technical service, field support or any other technical or commercial support that may be required by clients or colleagues. You will work in a regional sales office with a small, dedicated, “Highly Respected in the Industry” Team that values your unique individual skills. Prepare all requested paperwork in a timely manner, which includes but is not limited to expense reports, specification and project tracking, sales call reports when requested, and all other documents that may be requested by the VP of the Crane Runway Division. Attend Trade Shows and Conferences when necessary. QUALIFICATIONS Civil engineer with structural and/or construction emphasis is preferred but comparable work experience will be considered.Crane system experience in a steel mill or industrial application is also a plus.  The ideal candidate will have an understanding of large project design and construction flow.  Strong interpersonal skills both written and oral are required as well as organizational/time management skills.  Procifiency in Microsoft WORD, EXCEL PowerPoint and AUTOCAD required. Working conditions may involve some physical exertion in the course of providing project site support, on occasion you may be required to work at heights to evaluate a client’s crane system, you could be exposed to the elements or hazards that are inherent on a specific customers site or on the job which also includes situations that arise in the course of routine travel. As a Sales Engineer in the Atlantic Track Crane Runway Division, you will be an integral member of our Sales team, offering technical and commercial solutions to engineers and consultants who design crane runway systems. You will also be responsible to interface with and sell our products, processes and services directly to owners who have and maintain crane rail and crane runway systems.
