M&A Finance Manager

The Company is looking for a M&A Finance Manager who is a key contributor to the Finance and Accounting team. This individual will be primarily responsible for leading and managing the Finance and Accounting team through transactions. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for performing and/or managing external advisors through financial due diligence, valuation, and day one accounting, as well as lead and manage the broader Finance and Accounting team through integration. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual who is detailed oriented, organized, and thorough, with excellent analytical and project management skills, who can manage teams and work across functions. -Experience with executing due diligence engagements and managing external consultants. -Proficiency with US GAAP, core financial processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, etc.) and potential impacts associated with merger integration activities. -Proficiency executing compliance requirements on time (internal and external financial reporting), synergy targeting, and realization. -Experience with developing and executing on target operating models and organization design for the Finance and Accounting organization. -Understanding of cross-functional and functional coordination within Finance and Accounting as well as the broader organizational areas. -Experience managing both small and large projects through an IMO and participating as a workstream lead. -Experience with project management tools and techniques, including developing a project plan, milestone plan, dependency identification, status reporting, and issue resolution -Industry or consulting experience with financial reporting, finance processes, or finance transformation/strategy, particularly in relation to M&A activity -Assist with other projects, as needed. The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications: Job Requirements -Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required -6+ years experience: must have accounting/audit and financial due diligence experience, preferred valuation and integration experience -Big 4 public accounting firm experience preferred -Strong accounting and analytical skills are a must -Results driven, can do attitude, and organized -Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively at the executive level -Self starter, able to work in a dynamic team environment to drive results -Understanding of SEC filing requirements and US GAAP is required -Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Midaxo a plus -CPA license, preferred
