This position will also performdepartmental duties for CarolinaEast Health System, EMS department, andthe EMS manager.**Minimum Requirements:** High school diploma or equivalent. CurrentNorth Carolina Paramedic credential. Have and maintain a valid licenseto operate a motor vehicle in the State of North Carolina. Any personneloperating a CarolinaEast owned ambulance must have a minimum of threeyears' driving experience. Ability to drive an ambulance safely andefficiently. Successful completion of Emergency Vehicle Drive (EVD)course within one year of hire. Maintainence of EVD certification;required EVD refresher course every two yeras. One year experience atthe Paramedic level preferred. Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALScertification. Obtain PHTLS certification within one year from date ofhire. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Theindividual must possess the ability to assess data reflective of thepatient's status. The employee must be able to identify each patient'srequirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and to provide thecare needed, as described in the unit's/ area's/ department's policiesand procedures.**\\*\\*Sign-on bonus of $3,000.00****\\*\\*Relocation up to $5,000.00 for qualified candidates**
