CarolinaEast Medical Center is the onlycontinuous 5-star rated hospital by CMS in North Carolina.**Job Summary: **Under the direction of the MRI Supervisor, the MRItechnologist operates the MRI equipment and cares for patients. Allduties will be carried out in accordance with policies and procedures asestablished and approved by the Director of Imaging and the RadiologyManager.**Minimum Requirements: **Graduate from an accredited School ofRadiologic Science and registered by the ARRT. Two years' experience asa Radiologic Technologist. One year as an MRI Technologist preferred.The MRI Technologist staff member must be able to demonstrate theknowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age ofthe patients served by his/her assigned unit. The individual mustdemonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over thelife span and possess the ability to assess date reflective of thepatient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed toidentify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specificneeds, and provide the care needed as described in the department'sStandard Operating Procedures manual.
