Microsoft Windows System Administrator, Responsible for managing and maintaining more than 2000 enterprise servers for availably, reliability, redundancy and software installs, upgrades and management of applications deployed on them. Responsible for defining, enforcing and establishing a governance for a companywide polices and standard practices us operate and use the servers. The Windows administrator is responsible for maintaining system security by noticing faults and vulnerabilities within the server's architecture. This part of the job requires extensive knowledge of viruses and other sources of server vulnerability and requires the Windows administrator to develop and deploy protection measures, particularly when pushing out system-wide changes that can open up new vulnerabilities.Day to day responsibilities include but not limited to: 1. Install and Configure Windows Servers2. Provide Technical Support and Guidance3. Perform System Maintenance4. Monitor System Performance and Tuning5. Create System Backups6. Maintain System Security7. Create/Delete/Edit user Accounts and Permissions8. Capacity Planning9. Build and upgrade Windows servers10. Crash Investigations
