The Business Development Representative, Employee Benefits is primarily responsible for onboarding and the ongoing management and servicing of b2b employee benefits accounts. The BDR will utilize data and insights to contribute to the development of inbound marketing strategies to drive additional leads and grow current accounts and is responsible for reporting metrics to show success or highlight areas for improvement or opportunity.
Onboard employer and brokerage accounts to help them launch their pet insurance employee benefit
Continue to manage, respond to, service and market to existing and onboarded accounts to nurture and grow accounts
Utilize data to nurture and grow existing accounts
Occasionally exhibit at conferences and benefit fairs
Assist employer accounts with renewal and open enrollment
Contribute to business development marketing planning for employee benefits channel using data, insight, etc.
Prepare and review weekly and monthly reporting on KPIs to inform new initiatives, areas for improvement, etc.
Work with other marketing areas (SEO, paid, creative, etc.) in the development of marketing and advertising for employee benefits
Work with other areas of Embrace (Tech, Claims, Customer Service, etc.) as needed
Respond quickly and promptly to account needs
Manage and grow high-producing affiliate accounts and/or aggregators
Some outbound efforts, such as prospecting local accounts, etc., as needed.
3 5 years experience in inbound marketing, sales or business development, or related field/experience
Degree in marketing, business, etc. or comparable experience in industry
Takes initiative, motivated and thinks through all the areas of a task without needing to be told what to do next
Open and honest
Understands how to read data
Confident and a people person (or at least can turn it on when necessary)
