Executive Services Executive Services is a cross-channel PI & WI offering. The objective is to provide great service to plan sponsors and grow our existing HNW client base ($1M-$5M+) through a needs-based offering that focuses on benefits optimization and wealth planning for Executives. Job Purpose/Objective The Director, Relationship Management functions as a regional Director for a team of 12-15 ES Relationship Managers. The Director hires, trains, develops and leads the team holding them accountable for driving executive engagement and supporting the Executive Planning Consultant. The Director drives engagement and service strategies through the ES RM's, who have responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with up to 700 or more executives. The RM acts as a conduit between the EPC and the client and works exclusively with participants who fall under the Executive Services offering. The Director will also collaborate with both the RVP's and EPC's to influence the development of the ES service strategy, and help to develop strong client practice management. The Director of Relationship Management drives scale and profitability through operational efficiencies, management of ES infrastructure, and continued improvement of the ES program. The Director will collaborate with key business partners across WI and PI, as well as various areas within SAI, OSG, and LRC to identify and implement improved policies and procedures and address complex issues. This individual will be responsible for operations, risk and compliance for regional field based relationship management teams. Major Responsibilities Hiring, Training Coaching, Supervising and Developing: The job is to put the right team in place and give the RM's the tools and resources they need to excel in their roles Setting Direction: The Director should understand the industry, the financial markets, competitive influences in both the Institutional and Retail market places, approaches to HNW clients and the overall sales process to ensure the right support is given to the appropriate executives. Drive the appropriate KPI's for the broader business Book Management: Oversee RM's who will manage an existing book of both engaged and unegaged executives. RMs will be responsible for helping make initial outreach attempts to the eligible executive population while also supporting in-book executives and their needs. Client Escalations: Work with the RM, internal partners and clients as necessary on complex client escalations. Field Operations support: Partner with LRC to implement and deliver new policies, technologies and operational efficiencies to comply with ongoing/evolving regulatory obligations. Service Strategy: The Director of RM's should understand service at both the client and plan level, and be responsible for providing input, helping to develop solutions, and developing measures on the future direction of the Executive Services strategy, fitting within the broader PI & WI Service strategy. Practice Management: The Director of RM's will develop this proactive element to the overall service strategy, bringing the overall high-touch service to life. Work across PWI to analyze current state and identify potential improvements. Participate in cross-functional working teams to clarify and validate new initiatives. Following standard practices, help prepare any necessary information, reports, or proposals to address client issues or opportunities where written communications are required.
