General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems. Under close supervision, this position is responsible for assisting with developing and coordinating curriculum and training programs for operational maintainers or customers. Will be taught to utilize technical specifications or learning requirements that include, but not limited to engineering instructions, technical orders, and procedures and military regulations. Works on non-routine projects with general instruction and advanced projects with detailed instructions. Participates in the day to day activities of assigned functional area assisting in the completion of non-routine and advanced tasks. Assists in applying knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve non-routine problems. Assists in developing electronic and hard copy reports, records, diagrams and charts. Assists in planning, developing and/or implementing course content and coordinates the development of training aids, training curriculum, and associated learning materials, aids, or course evaluation metrics related to the program. Helps to develop and administer student examinations; continuously revising lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Other duties as assigned or as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Qualifications Typically requires enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at a recognized college or university. Must possess: (1) the ability to understand new concepts and apply them accurately; (2) the ability to follow general and detailed instructions as well as organizational policies and procedures; (3) good communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective interface with internal professionals; (4) the ability to work independently or in a team environment; and (5) advanced computer skills. Must possess the ability to schedule and coordinate multiple work phases, determine the appropriate approach at the task or project level, and have experience demonstrating a basic application of training practices, techniques, and standards. Advanced proficiency in design software and MSC Suite. Ability to work independently or as part of a team is essential. US Citizenship is required.
