Assistant Supervisor - Food Services
Job Code: 2019-967 Location: Brewster Main Campus Department: Food Services - Inst. Status: Regular Full Time (40 hrs/wk) Job Description:

The Assistant Supervisor serves as second Assistant Chef after the Director of Food Services and Food Services Supervisor. He/she is responsible to fill in for the Director and Supervisor in their absence. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting in the preparation of meals (early or late shifts as shifts can vary), portioning and serving meals, placing weekly food orders, directs food services workers in the absence of the Director and Supervisor, assigns and supervises tasks, supervises students who participate in the Learn and Earn program, and other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Experience in cooking and demonstrated ability to handle daily administration of campus food services. Must have culinary degree, certificate in Sous Chef from ACF, and/or 7+ years of culinary experience. Must be Servsafe certified. Experience in the National School Lunch Program
