About the Position
This position is the front-line contact for everyone in the store: both customers and employees. You would be stepping into a fast-paced position where follow-up is critical, where your computer skills will be put to the test, and yet where you also must demonstrate empathy and compassion for your customers and your employees while being open and receptive to feedback.
This position requires someone who is a self-starter and extremely well organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
While not an all-inclusive list, the following are some of the duties and expectations of the position:
  • Support entire staff (sales team, installation team, management team, and others) by following up on problems and issues by making customer calls
  • Demonstrate strong, adaptive computer skills especially in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access (you will be asked to show proficiency with any or all of these programs ahead of or at any in-person interview)
  • Forwarding customer information requests (and then following up on them) to the appropriate member of the store team
  • Generates and directs order processing that impacts the customers needs
  • Surveys customers on a periodic basis to measures satisfaction

Retail experience and/or flooring experience are helpful, but we will train the right candidate.
