Job Summary

The Accounts Reciveable Manager is responsible for overseeing the collection efforts of approximately $4m accounts receivable for multiple business units and locations.

Duties and Responsponsibilites

  • Supervise Accounts Receiveable team (5).
  • Ensure proper SOX documentation is retained as needed related to collections, write-offs, and payment plans.
  • Monitor and maintain monthly aging reports.
  • Monitor work queues for inside and outside collectors.
  • Review and forecast uncollectable debts.
  • Report monthly KPI of team.
  • Develop collection methods that consistently lead to achieving company financial goals.
  • Work closely with team members and other departments to identify, create, document and implement process improvements.
  • Work with legal to authorize material settlements and payment arrangements.
  • Field incoming calls from sales offices/agents as needed.
  • Perform maintenance on accounts as needed.
  • Train new employees and hold training reviews for established employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Advanced in Excel, Word, and Email.
  • Collection experience a plus.
  • Banking experience a plus but not required.
  • 3 or more years previous experience preferred.
