Pro Sound Effects (PSE) is seeking a Sales Account Executive to support Direct Sales & Licensing department and report to our Licensing Manager. The Account Executive will work independently on executing B2B sales at each stage of the funnel, from prospecting, onboarding new leads, quoting, closing, and providing support for new accounts.

The ideal candidate is independent and driven, with a passion for business development and customer success, experience selling to businesses and schools, and the desire to be part of a small but growing team.

PSE develops word-class sound effects libraries and search software for sound designers, video editors, companies, schools and nonprofits. Award-winning creators and companies in film and television, video games, virtual reality, and advertising rely on PSE libraries every day to fuel creativity, finish projects faster, and deliver their best sound always. Based in Brooklyn since 2004, PSE crafts comprehensive General Libraries, high-quality Specialty Libraries, and intuitive Library Management Software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing long-term relationships with key B2B accounts
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing support and delight
  • Meeting quarterly and annual revenue targets for B2B channel
  • Consulting, quoting, and closing deals with new clients
  • Prospecting new business opportunities
  • Working with team to strategize and execute targeted lead-gen campaigns
  • Maintaining a thorough deal pipeline in sales CRM
  • Drafting contracts / license agreements for client review & execution
  • Occasional (not heavy) traveling for trade shows and/or key client meetings

  • BA/BS or higher required5+ years B2B sales experience (music licensing or SaaS sales a plus)
  • Talented communicator, comfortable in any medium (phone, email, in-person)
  • Process-oriented, with a proven ability to manage and meet deadlines
  • Expert command of CRM Sales Software (Hubspot a plus)
  • Comfortable with modern team collaboration software Google Apps, Slack, and Asana.
  • Experience with prospecting and developing new business (using LinkedIn and/or other means) and an eagerness to hunt
  • Genuine interest in music or sound (audio technology and/or music production background a plus)
  • Desire to be part of a small, highly-evolved, and open-minded team.
  • NYC area preferred. Must be authorized to work in USA.
