QCTM has an excellent opportunity for an experienced dynamic Corporate Travel Agent to join our New York operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Travel Agent who is looking for the next challenge.Skills RequiredAt least 5 years of experience as a corporate travel agent booking all aspects of corporate travel, including but not limited to, flights, hotels, car hire, chauffeur drive & railExcellent recent GDS skills (Apollo preferred however conversion training can be provided) this includes but is not limited to creating and sending itineraries, executing upgrades and seat assignments, ticketing, exchanges, refunds, queue sorting, MCOs, manual fare buildsProficient with international itineraries and rate structuresExceptional customer service with excellent attention to detail, to include proactive travel advice and demonstrate cost savings to our clientsThe ability to identify and create additional revenue opportunities and/or value added services relevant to the client's requirementsA strong, methodical and accurate work ethic to service all bookings from initial enquiry through to invoice and ticketingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal communication and relationship building skillsGood problem solving skills and initiativeWillingness to learn new systems, adapt to new processes and to develop existing skillsFlexibility & patienceExpert proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft WordAbility to function in a fast-paced, demanding environmentJob Details And ResponsibilitiesArrange all elements of business travel from initial request to completion for clients including air, hotel, car rentals, train, tour and ground arrangements at the lowest possible price within corporate travel guidelinesProvide excellent customer service that exceeds clients' expectationsDevelop relationships with clients to improve the overall service levelMaintain ownership of each record until trip has been completed to ensure all details (including but not limited to seat assignments, meal preference, upgrades etc.) are completed to the client's satisfaction in line with company procedures including ticketing and exchangesFollow company procedures with regards to customer service, documentation of PNRs and profiles, ticketing, invoicing, attendance, accuracy of work etc.Researches and provides solution to any travel related problem clients may have experienced with arrangements made by QTCM with total management awareness and participationStays fully informed on all airline rules and regulations, tariffs and fare requirements and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangementsWork closely with team to ensure worldwide coverage for clientsParticipate in operational projects, training and functions as appointed by the managerGDS proficient and maintains GDS skills with relevant trainingStays abreast of technology and industry knowledgeMust have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with high level global clienteleProblem resolving to always include managementPerforms other office functions as needed and seeks ways to personally add to the overall efficiency of the operationRegular and dependable attendance and punctuality is requiredbnx7HWmEql
