Permanent position: Operations Engineer located in Jacksonville, FL for a leading power solutions provider serving the utility, and power industries. This role is responsible to support operations and maintenance for several temporary global power plants. To be considered - B.S degree is required (Business, Engineering, or related would be ideal) with at least three (3) years' experience in power generation or heavy industrial plant operations. Responsibilities for the Operations Engineer

  • Travel required up to 50% (International travel)
  • Oversee operations and maintenance for several plants globally ensure that all plants' assets are well-maintained
  • Create and maintain a system of performance management to ensure all team members are performing to the highest expectations
  • Support the creation of annual plant budgets
  • Conduct Site audits (Plant Operations, HSE, Security, Inventory, Finance)
  • Support the Plant Managers in failure analysis reports, engineering change orders and site projects
  • Requirements for the Operations Engineer

  • B.S degree in Engineering is preferred (B.S degree in Business, Ops. or related is required)
  • Experience in power generation or heavy industrial plant operations preferred
  • Will consider other industry experience with applicability to power generation
  • Ability to travel globally up to 50%
