Job Description The Quality Assurance Coordinator will work closely with all aspects of Production to ensure all garments meet or exceed the expectations of Reem Acra and its consumers. Responsibilities:Minimizing monetary loss resulting from product merchandise not meeting Reem Acra standards.Performing visual examinations of garment compared to established guidelines to determine major and critical defects.Inspecting and measuring garments.Responding to vendor and customer inquiries.Detecting inconsistencies between specifications and actual garment.Supporting the development and understanding of improved quality reporting measures.Overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities, to include weighing and packaging, preparing paperwork and communicating with shipping vendors.Other tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications:Two to three (2-3) years working in a Production or Technical Apparel environment.RTW/Bridal apparel inspecting and measuring experience.Strong knowledge of the construction and properties of bridal and couture garments.Capable of preparing, writing, and understanding product specification sheets.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team and independently.High level of attention to detail.Extremely organized and efficient.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. BA in Business or relevant field.
