Position The Associate Director, Global Employee Compensation leads the development, deployment, and assessment of global employee compensation guidelines, policies and associated business processes and technologies (e.g. incentive targets, salary structure, retention policies, etc.) aligned with the WW Total Rewards strategy and our business objectives. Maintains primary accountability for the selection, development, and management of global compensation technology and tools (e.g. Workday Compensation, Benchmarking tools, etc.). Collaborates with regional Total Rewards, HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop innovative programs that support the advancement of business results. Strategic partner to HR leadership on advising, developing and implementing compensation solutions. Plans and optimizes the successful delivery and implementation of compensation guidelines, frameworks & policies globally (e.g. special rewards and recognition, salary structures) Provides strategic compensation partnering to business and/or function leadership to ensure alignment between business and/or function long-term strategy and compensation strategy Provide guidance and collaborates with regional Total Rewards colleagues and other team members to develop solutions to meet business needs and to deliver the global compensation strategy, ensuring a consistent global approach, while ensuring local sensitivity Oversees global processes and projects (Annual Reward Cycle, Retention), including the configuration, implementation and management of the Workday rewards functionality and content. Develops and leads the delivery of global compensation training, communications and associated change management (for HR and non-HR). Proactively identifies global and regional compensation needs to optimize plans, programs & technology Has oversight of global compensation vendor relationships, resulting in leveraging our global scale to optimize costs and services. Oversees partnership with Shared Services leaders to enable successful operations; identify training need and oversees performance Key Capabilities Deep knowledge of compensation theories (including, benchmarking, salary administration and compensation processes) and the application of those theories to develop practical, sustainable, scalable solutions. Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, persuade and gain confidence of senior management on sensitive issues. Strong communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and succinctly; ability to write effectively for varied audiences from senior executives and staff associates. Able to drive results through influence at every level. Excellent change management and consensus building skills, gaining commitment to strategies by building strong, collaborative working relationships in the spirit of transparency. Strategic thinker, high business acumen and understands business implications of decisions Must be able to maintain awareness of evolving trends and continuous improvement opportunities Strong qualitative, analytical and statistical skills; detail oriented Ability to work well under pressure, balance multiple priorities and produce results. Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. Key Experience & Skills 12+ years of progressive hands-on experience in global compensation processes, policies, framework and design, including planning, communicating, analytics and researching market trends. Experience in facilitating change; adept in project and change management Strong project leadership skills; detail oriented Hands on experience translating business requirements into functional solutions Must be able to maintain awareness of evolving trends and continuous improvement opportunities Proven leadership in team building and coaching team members Experience in communicating and translating complex plan design into understandable terms so rewards plans are appropriately valued by associates
