TheAccount Manager will be a part of a fun, upbeat, and constantly evolving IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. Basic Functions:

  • Work with active customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands
  • Seek out additional revenue through existing accounts by cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to existing accounts
  • Qualify new sales opportunities for current customers
  • Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of Tekscape to active customers
  • Work with management to develop proposals, quotes and respond to RFP/RFI documents
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account
  • Manage the complexity of service proposals, contracts, and service level agreements
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of Tekscape
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in ConnectWise and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures
  • Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with prospects and work to give them the best possible service
  • Manage at least 20 - 30 client accounts
  • - Monthly meetings with key accounts

    - Weekly check-in with accounts

  • Prospect to organizations throughout the country selling Cloud and IT services
  • Respond to and qualify incoming web and phone inquiries regarding our products and solutions
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals as defined by management
  • Develop and maintain solid business relationships
  • Work effectively and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer's needs
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occur
  • Enter all work as activities in ConnectWise (CRM)
  • Skills and Qualifications:

  • Outside sales experience with selling relevant IT services and products
  • Possess a track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process
  • Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships
  • High energy and drive with strong negotiation skills
  • Proficient with general office applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Able to prepare well-written communications and material for client meetings and internal meetings
  • Interpersonal skills: such as telephone skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Education & Previous Experience:

  • BA/BS, preferably in Engineering, Economics, IT or Business
  • 5+ years of sales experience within the IT and/or MSP space (Required)
