Summary of Position

The ZO. Ambassador serves as a host to upwards of 17,000 ZO. Members in Rockefeller Center. A ZO. Ambassador is curious, genuine, a true team player and always comfortable rolling up their sleeves to do what is necessary hosting our ZO Members and supporting the greater team. The role is responsible for executing day-to-day ZO. operations throughout Rockefeller Center.

Key Responsibilities

Execution of Daily Operation

  • Receiving ZO. Members in all ZO. Spaces throughout the day
  • Compiling Shift Reports daily to best communicate daily highlights and challenges
  • Keeping all ZO. Spaces, including bathrooms orderly and clean, always reporting any and all deficiencies
  • Communicating daily events to greater Rockefeller Center Lobby Teams
  • Checking ZO. Members in/out of ZO. programming
  • Turning over Nap Pods and Meditation Sessions
  • Setting up and breaking down both ZO. and Private Events, including all wellness offerings (i.e. Yoga and Pilates)
  • Ensure Programming Calendars are accurate and up to date
  • Daily email communication with ZO. Members
  • Able to navigate ZO. App and Content Management website
  • Interacting with ZO. Members, always pulling feedback and communicating incoming feedback and ideas
  • Communicate and resolve any and all Member service issues
  • Food and Beverage

  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, liquor, safety and employment regulations and all standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean Pantry area at all times
  • Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and smoothies
  • Operate Point Of Sale system to ensure all Members are charged accordingly
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
  • Complete inventories
  • Adhere to daily checklists when opening and closing the Pantry
  • Meet with the Food and Beverage Partner weekly to review equipment needs, inventory needs, operational challenges and member feedback
  • Ensure that storage area and refrigerators are maintained, organized and up to all hygienic standards

    What it takes?

    The individual must possess the above knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Previous Barista, Bartender or other Food & Beverage or high level customer service experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and computational skills
  • Superior problem solving skills
  • Able to read, speak and write the primary languages used in the workplace
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and continuing basis
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.?
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
  • Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
  • Must be minimum age to serve alcohol
