Job Summary:

This individual will have oversight responsibility for the day to day management of Respiratory Care, Sleep, and EEG. This will include, but not be limited to, training, education, quality assurance, quality control, maintaining adequate supplies and equipment, assisting in staffing and budgetary matters, scheduling, time keeping, maintaining the blood gas laboratory and machines and evaluation and discipline of staff.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy preferred.
  • Five years of experience in a supervisory or management role preferred.
  • Masters preferred.
  • American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS within 3 months of hire. NRP, ACLS & PALS/PEARS preferred.
  • Preferred current RRT - Successful completion of the national advanced practice examinations for the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Preferred current license by the State of Tennessee as a Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (LRRT).
