What youll be doing...

Youll join our passionate team, to help build the future of media for Verizon. Youll partner with the Wireless Business Unit and the rest of the Central Marketing Organization to drive awareness of and demand for Wireless products and services.

As a member of this exciting team, youll be responsible for shaping the media strategy and driving the activation of key wireless initiatives
Lead the enterprise strategies and plans for delivering national and local video investment and maximizing delivery and efficiency
Lead the definition and activation of key multi-channel media partnerships, tied to video investments, including defining annual plans, innovative integrated initiatives, and joint innovation pipelines
Lead the ongoing execution of the video channel
Overall video management process, message and traffic calendar management
Ensuring delivery achieves all media principles
Define future state vision for video evolution and lead ongoing test, learn and scale plan to achieve vision
Future state of video (OLV, OTT, Addressable, Social, etc.)
Video measurement and testing
Alternative video and creative formats
Establish ongoing processes and tools for video and video management to be best in class and define competitive advantage
Lead video planning and investment scenario planning in partnership with Media Strategy partners and agency
Manage video investment budgets and shifts proactively and with urgency
Lead media agency relationships, provide clear briefing and direction.
Manage cross-team delivery of campaign reporting, insights and optimization
Identify and implement innovation and thought leadership within campaigns and across the Wireless Media Team
Steward budget management including reconciliation and invoice approval.
What were looking for...
Youll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Client or Media Agency experience within a brand awareness and direct response capacity.
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
7+ years of consumer media experience, with depth of expertise in video and digital channels
Experiencein developing data driven media strategies.
Experience collaborating with creative teams for joint, idea led media plans.
Channel agnostic mindset with experience developing national and local campaigns, special emphasis on digital and TV.
Strong digital media acumen, including experience and knowledge of programmatic, geo hyper- targeting, retargeting.
Ability to understand business strategies and correlate business outcomes to media actions.
Passion for driving results and innovating along the way.
Ability to balance multiple dynamic priorities.
Influential storytelling skills, verbally and written.
Excellent communication and partnership skills.
Analytical rigor skills.
Effective project management and execution skills.
