Skilled Laborer (Solar Tech 2)-29471Responsible for assisting skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Promote and comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
  • Assemble,install, or maintainsolarphotovoltaic (PV) systems onstructures in compliance with site assessment and schematics.

  • May includemeasuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing andsolarmodules.

  • May be required to travel to different jobsites on limited notice
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Other Duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three years of experience in field
  • Take reasonable care of your own and others health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzeks Zero Injury principles
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's ability to perform these operations using units, weight measurement and volume
  • Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment ALL CRAFT POSITIONS WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts high, precarious places and extreme heat
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
