**Data and Analytics Lead - U.S. Commercial Insurance**
Zurich North America is looking for a Data and Analytics Lead for U.S. Commercial Insurance, based out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois or our Jersey City, New Jersey location.
The Data and Analytics Lead for U.S. Commercial Insurance leads a team and is responsible for using data and analytics to create business impact for the U.S. Commercial Insurance business unit at Zurich North America. Data and Analytics at Zurich encompass data science, analytics, reports, dashboards and data visualizations as well as the enhancement and creation of data.
As the Data and Analytic Lead for U.S. Commercial Insurance, your core responsibility is to lead a team to solve business challenges using data and analytics, to drive impact for U.S. Commercial Insurance.
In this role you will:
+ Work closely with stakeholders to understand how data and analytics can help U.S. Commercial Insurance achieve their strategic priorities
+ Determine how the Data and Analytics team will bring impact to U.S. Commercial Insurance through a program of projects as well as analytics to support the day-to-day business
+ Manage the Data and Analytics Program for U.S. Commercial insurance, which includes working with your team to:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their challenges and structure a data and/or analytics solution to solve it
- Ensure the quality of the data and analytics solution being built, and that it's fit for purpose
- Work with stakeholders to develop a strategy on how to use data and analytics to generate the desired impact
- Work with stakeholders after deployment to ensure that impact is achieved
+ Manage prior Data and Analytics models deployed in U.S. Commercial Insurance to maximize impact
+ Lead the U.S. Commercial Insurance Data and Analytics team, developing their analytic and business problem-solving skill sets.
+ Bachelor's Degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Strategic Planning areaAND
+ 7 or more years in management consulting or corporate strategy / internal consulting
+ 5 or more years of Project Manager level experience in managing multiple teams at a given time within management consulting
+ Experience in building strategic agenda for medium to large organizations or Business Units
+ Experience in working closely with CEOs to identify and solve issue of highest importance to the organizations and CEO agenda
+ Experience in building people capabilities in a professional services environment
+ Experience in using data and analytics, including data science, to solve business challenges and drive business impact
+ Knowledge of statistical and data science models
+ Experience leading, managing, and coaching an analytics team
+ Commercial property & casualty insurance knowledge and experience
+ Strong communication and presentation skills
